Hello 2014!! As 2013 came to a close, I reflected quite a lot on everything. I looked back on who I am as a mother, a wife, a person, and a photographer. My conclusions? 2013 was a great year. I grew tremendously in all areas. I took chances and broke down walls. I love photography because I can tangibly see my growth. I worked tirelessly this past year on learning every chance I could and I feel like my images prove it. I very timidly took on weddings and ran with them! A special thank you to Becca Sutherland Photography for letting me come on as a mentee and second shooter! My confidence and skill grew more than I ever could have hoped for.
So, 2014, Here I Come! I have so many ideas and things I want to do this year. In-person workshops are at the top of my list closely followed by getting in front of the camera, giving fine art a shot, and trying my best to get published somewhere. I will actually submit my work this year (maybe) :)
As I was thinking about all of this renewal, I wondered how I would express this in a blog... hmmmm... Well with Babies of Course! First up, Baby Claire! How adorable is she??
